Cosmos enables different blockchains to communicate and transact with each other in a decentralized way, breaking down silos and enhancing functionality across different platforms. So if you are looking for interoperability and horizontal scalability, sovereignty and a robust SDK, then Cosmos is your go-to ecosystem.
We recommend starting by learning about the Cosmos Hub and familiarizing yourself with the various App Chains that make up one of the most popular and a vibrant web3 ecosystems. If you're looking to get a sense of the technology and community please take a look at the docs and the forum.
Cosmos validators, thus, play an integral role in block production, transaction validation, governance, and maintaining the overall health and security of the network. They perform these functions while managing the delegations, ensuring network and node security, and actively participating in the ongoing development and governance of the Cosmos ecosystem.
The ATOM is the Cosmos Hub's primary token and secures the Hub's valuable interchain services. If you hold ATOM, you can temporarily lock them up to contribute to the security of the Cosmos Hub using a mechanism called Staking. By staking ATOM, you are able to vote in Cosmos Hub governance decisions.
If you hold ATOM tokens and choose to stake them you will need to choose a validator and delegate your stake to them in order to do so. Validators never obtain custody of the ATOM delegated to them, but choose your validator wisely as any slashing applied to your validator affects you as well.

The Agoric Network has been created to cater to the needs of a diverse set of decentralized applications, including decentralized marketplaces, prediction markets, DeFi solutions, supply chain management, and gaming platforms.
Developers can get started by visiting the Agoric documentation on their official website. It provides a wealth of resources, including guides, tutorials, and API documentation, to assist developers in building their first smart contracts and dApps on the Agoric Network. If you're looking to get a sense of the community please take a look at the forum.
BLD is a staking token supporting economic activity within the Agoric ecosystem. The BLD is Agoric's primary token and it supports and secures the blockchain's services. If you hold BLD, you can temporarily lock them up to contribute to the security of the Agoric network using a mechanism called Staking. By staking BLD, you are able to vote in Agoric's governance decisions.
Agoric is designed with scalability in mind, enabling developers to build high-throughput applications that can handle a substantial number of transactions per second. This ensures that applications built on Agoric can scale effectively alongside their user base.
The Agoric Network embraces interchain connectivity through the Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol (IBC), enabling seamless interactions with other blockchain ecosystems within the Cosmos ecosystem.
